Our Fees

We provide a tailor made service to ensure we meet your specific needs and requirements, as no two clients or cases are the same. To ensure you receive the right level of service at the right price we offer:

  • Free initial consultation (either a face to face meeting in the office or by telephone).
  • Free assessment of your circumstances and your immigration case.
  • Free no obligations fixed fee quote.

In most cases we will provide a fixed fee quote with no hidden extras or charges, so you know exactly what the costs will be and what you are paying for. Likewise, we will know exactly what is expected of us. We believe our fixed fees are the most competitive for a like for like service. So whether you are an individual, family member, student, work permit holder, employer or business, we can provide a tailor made service to suit your requirements and budget.

We have set out below our fixed fees for our immigration services. The fixed fee is for our legal services only. It does not include UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) or other disbursements which you will be directly responsible for i.e. Home Office/Visa fee; Immigration Health Surcharge; Barrister fee; immigration housing inspection report; DNA tests; translations etc. Our fees do not attract VAT. The fees quoted do not cover situations with unusual complexities such as adverse immigration histories or previous refusals.

The fees quoted here do not include:

  • Home Office fees. You can get details of the applicable Home Office/UKVI fees from: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/visa-regulations-revised-table/home-office-immigration-and-nationality-fees-2018
  • Where the Home Office refuse your application, advice and assistance in relation to any appeal.
  • Disbursements. These are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as Home Office/Visa fee; Immigration Health Surcharge; Barrister fee; immigration housing inspection report; DNA tests; translations/interpreters fees. We will provide you with full written details of any likely disbursements and the cost once we are instructed on the case.
  • VAT. Our fees do not attract VAT. There is no VAT charge on our fees.
  • Interpreters. If you need an interpreter you can either request a professional interpreter (their charges are approximately £40 + VAT per hour - the cost of which you will be directly responsible for and is not included in our fee quote) or you may request a family member or friend to attend with you. You do not need to use an interpreter of our choosing; you are free to choose your own interpreter. Please discuss this with us when arranging the first appointment.

Scope of Work

Our fixed fees typically include:

  • taking your instructions;
  • carefully considering your circumstances, priorities and immigration objectives;
  • assessing and advising you on the options available and most appropriate course of action;
  • providing you with detailed written advice on the criteria, evidence and procedural requirements;
  • preparing the relevant application to include assistance with the online process;
  • reviewing all supporting documentary evidence and information;
  • providing written supporting legal representations to be submitted with your application;
  • liaising with the Home Office as required with regard to the application (as necessary);
  • providing you with further written advice on the next steps once the application has been decided;
  • if the application is refused advising on any appeal rights and associated costs for the appeal stage.

The Application process (general overview)

We will provide you with specific details on the process of your individual application when we are instructed on the case but in general terms the application process in most cases will be as follows:

Step 1: We will take information from you (instructions) on your particular case, circumstances and level of support you need to complete a successful application. We will provide you with a written fixed fee quote on our costs and likely disbursements specific to your particular case. If you accept our quote and make payment on account of our fixed fee we can start on the case.

Step 2: We will provide you with a detailed letter of advice informing you of what the Home Office qualifying criteria is for a successful application; the process to be followed; the timescales; and the supporting documentation and information required to prepare the application.

Step 3: Having received the required documentation and information we will prepare the application to the Home Office; prepare the supporting documentary evidence and complete the required online submission and arrange the Biometrics appointment.

Step 4: Advise you following the issuing of the decision. If granted we will advise you on your legal position; what you can/cannot do and what you need to be putting in place for the next extension application as appropriate. If the application is refused we will consider and advise you on next steps (whether there are sufficient merits to pursue an appeal or consider alternative options).

Timescales

In most cases we require approximately six weeks to prepare an application (in urgent cases we can do this in three weeks subject to your circumstances). Once an application is submitted to the Home Office we can expect to receive a decision within six months but we cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application. More information on Home Office processing times can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/visa-decision-waiting-times-applications-outside-the-uk. All applications are likely to vary and of course, we can give you a more accurate estimate once we have more information about your specific case.
